We'd like to take a minute to welcome you to the Sigma Alpha Mu Gamma Lambda Chapter website. We appreciate your interest and involvement in your son's success here at Northern Illinois University. While we are cognizant of the fact that sending your son to college may be a challenging or nerve wracking proposition, it is our hope that we can help make your son's transition to NIU, and college life in general, an easier and much more rewarding process.

If you are a parent of an active member and/or resident of the chapter house, you may find the answers to your questions in the “Parents of Members” section above. For parents of students interested in going Greek or joining our chapter, we ask you to read the section entitled “Parents of Prospective Members” above.

We again wish to thank you for your time and support. There is no doubt that you as parents have done an exceptional job raising your son with high academic and personal ambitions. We hope that our chapter can be his “home away from home” and will give your son the ability and impetus to continue to grow, academically, socially, and personally.
