We are Sigma Alpha Mu social fraternity, Gamma Lambda chapter, also known as Sammy's. We are amongst the older continuous social fraternity chapter's at Northern Illinois University, chartered in 1982. We are a fraternity of individuals looking to do something more and be something better. We exist to enhance the University experience by providing Social, Service, and Leadership opportunities to our members. We are the “home away from home” to our fraternity “family” and have created such an atmosphere by living up to our principles of Trust, Brotherhood, and Respect.
