2010 is already looking to be a very promising year for Sigma Alpha Mu Gamma Lambda! We have a lot of goals to meet, both personally and fraternally. These next few months are crucial, and we are here to let the world know what we are doing and what to expect!

       SINGS spring 2010 is literally right around the corner. March 16th is the date, directly after spring break. This gives our guys a chance to serenade the lovely ladies in our Greek community and to have an overall good time. We look forward to future mixers and other social gatherings with the various sororities of NIU.

       Alpha Sigma Alpha Presents "Do it to the Crowd"! 2010 is THIS upcoming april. Sigma Alpha Mu has always competed in this dance competition and have won the Men's Championship on over thre separate years. All benefits for this philanthropy are donated to charity, so please come out and support out guys in this competition! We promise to bring it to a whole new level this year! More information on this will be provided as the date becomes near.

     Lastly,  the polls on the front page are not just there for show. Many people have voted on what they would most likely want to do for a spring alumni event. The two most wanted options are a BBQ at the Sammy house, or a Golf outing (Chicagoland.) One of these two events will most likely take place in April, once the weather starts to warm up. All Alumni and their family will be invited, and will recieve invitations far before the event is held so as to make sure you all can fit it into your schedule. Either one is guaranteed to be a great time!

 What's new at Gamma Lambda?

      We at Gamma Lambda would like to congratulate Sean Bayless on becoming the new IFC VP of Recruitment. It has been years since we have achieved this. We hope to maintain this position for   many years to come!

      New Pillars! In case you have not visited the house in a while, I am glad to inform you that our pillars are now brand new, sleek and shiny! This is just one of the few household changes that we have accomplished in the past year. Some of those changes include new shutters for the windows!

      Lastly,  For you Alumni - Policy has been made that our semi-annual Gamma Lambda Newsletter will be available on the website either at the end of each semester, or by the beginning of the next. For example, the Fall 2009 Newsletter is now available! Click below to view! We realized it is better to wait until each semester is over before we recap our accomplishments. Expect the Spring 2010 Newsletter in May, 2010! As well as another Alumni Event coming this spring!
